Ubuntu or Fedora

A Dilemma

I am a Fedora user. I keep my system up to date. I've used Fedora 17 with Gnome 3.4 and Fedora 18 with Gnome 3.6. I like the Gnome Shell and I'm used to the Hotspot thingy.
A few days back, Fedora 19 stable version came into existence. I backed up all the data (my HOME Folder) and saved it in one of the NTFS folders and went on to try the new Gnome 3.8 in Fedora 19. It was the worst decision I could make.
The new Gnome sucks. Gnome guys have tried to bring a Unity twist to Gnome. The new menu contains a "Frequent" option to save the recently used packages. This one of the things that I hate about Unity. I mean, when i click on a menu button, a expect it to show all the installed packages with a filter. This is one of the very reasons I don't use Ubuntu. Plus, I read this on some other blog : "Have Gnome 3.8 decided that users do not need Screensaver anymore !?" The biggest problem that I faced was the Hotspot. It was so easy to use in the previous version. Gnome 3.8 requires that you push the cursor on the top-left corner with a little more effort. Previously, it used to be so smooth. You take the cursor to the hotspot location and you could view all the open windows. Again this is something you don't get in Unity.
Finally I've decided to leave Fedora and migrate to Ubuntu. The upcoming versions of Fedora will be using Gnome and i don't see where Gnome is going. I've already installed the latest stable version of Ubuntu, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I'm going to use Gnome 3.6 in Ubuntu because that is what I'm comfortable with. But I'm also going to give Unity another chance to impress me. It's been a few days since I'm using Unity and, for now, I'm okay with it. Let's see which one do I like ultimately.
